What a fun and relaxing weekend! Nate didn’t get off work until about 6:30 Friday night and figured he would probably be going in again later so we grabbed a quick bite to eat at Don Pablo’s. I didn’t take any pictures because there was literally NO light by us! After we left, we stopped at home quick and ran to Nate’s work so he could do some stuff.
Nate had to go in Saturday morning, so we headed to Fargo in the afternoon. We spent the entire afternoon at the car dealership looking at trucks! Then we hung out at Grandma’s and babysat this adorable little thing:
Isn’t she adorable? Yea except she never smiled for us! She cried and cried. I walked around with her for an hour and a half! Great birth control if you ask me 😉 She’s definitely a momma’s girl!
So, every year in Fargo, the Red River floods. They build dike’s and millions of sandbags to prevent houses and businesses from being ruined. Well, Nate was listening to the radio this morning and heard that there is water running over I-29 North of Fargo, so he insisted we go check it out! Here’s some video footage of the road:
It was so stressful! Grandma and I were freaking out! Nate said, “If we make it through this, we’ll have something to laugh about for a long time!” And now the interstate is closed where we were driving 🙂
Hope everyone had a great weekend! I’ll be back tomorrow! Goodnight!
