Exercise Plans!

Here I will account for my weekly exercises. I’ll post on Sunday or Monday what I want to do for the week…and then I will update with what I actually did!

Week of April 4, 2011

Monday – AM – Yoga for Runners; PM – Run 3 miles

Tuesday – AM – 10 pound slimdown yoga; PM – Warm up elliptical, Body for Life (BFL) Lower body workout: Quads – Leg extension (dumbbell squat); Hamstrings – One-leg deadlift (lunges); Calves – squat bar angled calf raises (straight calf raises); Abs – leg raises (plank extension on stability ball)

Wednesday – AM – Run 4 miles; Elliptical 40 minutes

Thursday – AM – Run 4 miles, BFL Upper Body Workout

Friday – AM – Yoga; PM – 45 minutes elliptical

Saturday – AM – 4 miles Rest

Sunday – off or ellitical 4 miles

Week of April 11, 2011

Monday – AM – Yoga for Runners; PM – Run 3 miles

Tuesday – AM – 10 pound slimdown yoga; PM – BFL lower body workout

Wednesday – 5 mile Tempo run; BFL lower body workout

Thursday – 3 mile run; BFL Upper Body workout

Friday – 45 min elliptical

Saturday – 10 mile long run

Sunday – 30 min elliptical, abs, stretch

Week of April 18, 2011

Monday – Foam Roll; 3 miles

Tuesday – 10 pound slimdown yoga; lower body workout

Wednesday – 6 mile tempo run

Thursday – 2 mile run; upper body workout

Friday – 45 min elliptical

Saturday – 11 mile run

Sunday – Easter! off – eat ridiculous amounts of candy

Week of May 2, 2011 (sorry I skipped last week)

Monday – yoga, 3 miles

Tuesday – Pilates, lower body workout

Wednesday – 6 miles speed workout

Thursday – 3 miles easy, upper body workout

Friday – 45 min elliptical, abs, stretching

Saturday – 9 mile run, GOTR 5k

Sunday – off
